  1. I'm planning to walk the West Highland Way in mid-late September.

    Not being familiar with that part of the world, could someone please
    give me some tips on what temperatures to expect and how much water/food
    I should count on carrying (will be camping wild for the most part).

    Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Good time.... roaring stags, grass turning and probably not too cold.
    As for rainfall, it can rain buckets at anytime. Likewise you can also
    catch a dry spell at any time.

    Best of all - the midges will be going, if not gone by then - later
    the better.
