I will miss you Melbourne folk, but I've been offered a job in
Coonabarabran, which I shall start in approximately two months. Now,
I guess I better go research some Warrumbungles single track, and
learn how to ride a bike without falling off.

Looking forward to being able to afford some bike bits!

Well you should have no trouble winning c-grade in the Coonabaraban
crits :). What's up there for an astrologer ;) ?

I seem to recall that as being out the other side of Wagga...it was my first stop when I was driving to Cairns.

Congrats! The Coona mob were always a little bit strange, now I guess they'll be even stranger...

Cheers,

I'm getting myself out of my comfort zone, aren't I?

A lot of the job interview was about asking whether I can stand all
the time on site (not going home everynight when on night shift).
There'll be no time to go riding, and there'll be no bunch rides or
crits. Damn. I was quite getting used to Melbourne. The lodge
better do good lattes and muffins, or I'm quitting.

You folk will come and visit me and stay overnight on your trips
between Melb and Brissy, won't you? It's the halfway point, a good
point to stop overnight.

/sad and happy.

I forgot about that! I do hope it's still going!

I hear the Chinese restaurant has changed hands for the worse.

In January we walked out of the dodgy Chinese place and went for the
pizza. Good move indeed!

Congratulations Tim! Lots of interesting astronomering to be done in
those parts, no doubt.

No need for you to set up a BUG: Warrumbungle Wheelers
<http://www.coonabarabran.com/cycling/> is already there. One of our
DubboBUG riders attended their "Tour de Warrumbungles" in April, had
fun, and found that she could climb hills. I don't know much else about
them except what's on the website.

A big Congratulations Tim!!! You'll enjoy having some decent money again for sure. And of course, even tho you will be geographically far, you will be electronically near, updating us on the fantastic new rides you'll be discovering: "Tim's Cycling Adventures in Coonaland".

Is Coona any closer to London? :)

Why no ride time? What have they got you doing?

Congrats on the new job - welcome to Cashland!
