Having been away on a minitour, courtesy of the lab having an off site
retreat, I took the opportunity to cycle there and back. I'll post a
full trip report tomorrow but it was weird.
The puncture fairy finally caught up with me after well in excess of
5000 miles.
I did my first stoppie on a road bike since I was a kid courtesy of a
SMIDSY.
The ride out was hell. The ride back was heaven. Grin factor 11 out of
10 (and it wasn't even on a bent).
I hit a car for the second time in a week. Never done that before.
I took photos on the move, some of which are actually OK..
I rode back with a chap on a Dahon speed TR which looks quite good but
sounds like 'squeak squeak squeak'. Does it come with ear plugs?
Scotland is a fantastic place to ride a road bike in the spring, as long
as you are going East.
My legs hurt. I've had a couple of glasses of leg restorer and am off to
bed.
