[font=Tms Rmn][font=Verdana]Last weekend WBT climbed the Els Angles in Girona which is an 11km climb in 45 minutes which Lance Armstrong used to do in 17 minutes ! He would also ride about 115km before he attempted the climb and I did about 30km......... also climbed the Santa Peialla of around 6km before having some mighty fine tapas and coffee........... on the Santa Peilla George Hincapie and training partners had marked the road with km markers to test their fitness....... we stayed at the Hotel Historic which Hincapie had stayed at the week before... in fact big George had donated a few jerseys to the display unit... as has Floyd, Levi and DaveZ..... see pictures....... I can see why all the pros train here..... the roads a super smooth, very little traffic, good weather and good access to food and drugs....... and to keep WBT happy our guide took us past LA’s former residence in Girona…….. ![/font]
