Just wondering if I can estimate watts from a recent 40k TT? I messed with the calculator at analyticalcycling, but came up with 470! I know that can't be right so I'm wondering if anyone has a different method?
40K TT Time: 61:29 Wind speed Avg 3.1, Max 4.6 (Mostly a Head wind going out) Elevation: +410 going out, -397 return (24.39 miles of Flat) 175 crank arm at 95rpm avg Avg HR 167(Max 185ish) Areo bars, aero frame, Mavic SL's front, rear. Weight = 178lbs, bike around 20 with bottles and such
I'd guess you entered something wrong. But having seen results and power files from a couple folks - it appears to take 300-320ish watts at your weight to get around the 1 hr mark on a flat/straight/calm wind course.
