Is there a handy formula for calculating approximate watt output out there? I realize there are several factors that would contribute to such a calculation such as bike and rider weight, wind speed, body mass, gradient, etc... but I'm hoping for something that can give a rough idea short of going out and buying a power tap, or a hac4, or the power kit from my S720i. Thanks!

power = (total mass x gravity x vertical height gained) / time plus about 40 or so watts for various resistances (e.g., rolling).
