  1. Hi guys,

I am wondering if anyone knows if there are any waterproof walkmans available on the
    market any more.

I remember a few years ago spotting one made by Sony but it doesn't seem to be avaialble any more.

    I did note another one online called "swimman" but at the dimensions 5 2/3 X 4 1/2 X 1 1/5 it is a
    bit bulky.

Am just spending several hours in the pool every day, and a destraction would be good 🙂.

    Any ideas greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

  2. check www.speedo.com ---- they make one or two models that are waterproof radios. they are quite
small, and if i recall, they also can strap on to your goggles too. they are very small, but i have
never used one... just seen them at meets and online.

    hope this helps,

They are piece of junks. Very bad reception. Even in outdoor pools, I could not get a decent
    reception.

I agree, reception is very bad. Plus, if the antennae goes underwater, such as during a flip turn,
you lose reception altogether and the radio automatically scans to the next station, which you
probably don't want to listen to.

Plus, the water rushing past the ears means you have to turn the volume up pretty high, which can't
    be good for your ears.
