  1. I'm currently riding a Merida 96 dual, and unfortunately it only has one water bottle cage, and I don't like riding with a Camelbak.

I've seen some riders with the water bottle mounted on the seat post.

What I'd like to know is, how does it feel when you riding does it feel awkward and is it just a matter of getting used to it?

Also who makes these brackets I believe Elite and Top peak

  2. you mean on the back of your seat, like triathletes ?
i have never seen them on seatpost

it could work but not on harsh terrain i guess

No this is on the seat post itself. The triathletes is mounted on the seat if I'm not mistaken.

In South Africa there are a few Elites which have got them on. I'm sure on the International front there are guys doing it too?

  4. There are all kinds of options to carry more water. Nordic makes a huge line of this stuff, see: Adding Water Bottle Cages to Bicycles without Braze Just scan down and click on a pic.
