From Radio Parts in Melbourne: http://www.radioparts.com.au/ProdView.aspx?popup=1&Product=65002007&direct=1
DWPT WATCH WITH PULSE & TEMP Code: 65002007 Price: $19.25 (inc GST)
Pulse & Temperature Watch
3 line LCD screen Pulse rate monitor Temperature monitor Time & Calendar display Alarm Timer
I bought 3 last week, work OK, but have their limitations. For $20 a reasonable entry point for heart rate monitoring.
cheers George

is this one of those ones that you need to touch with your finger so it can measure your pulse? How is the pulse measured with this unit?
[i]Is this one of those ones that you need to touch with your finger so it can measure your pulse? How is the pulse measured with this unit?
Yes, by touching the face of the watch. OK for walking and running, I would not suggest it for cycling or swiming.
