What about old catalytic converters, after 7-8,000 kilometers?
Theoretically, it shouldn't matter. That's not a lot of travel distance; hardly enough to be a threshold of failure. Where I live in the U.S., part of the inspection procedure is to check its function. If it doesn't work properly, the car can't legally be driven. Pastorio
