  1. Did I read on a previous thread that Warcop range is open
this coming Bank Hol weekend? I'm sure someone posted a
    link, but can't find it.

If so, hoping to explore the area, and particularly to climb
    Mickle Fell

Anybody been before either up the path recommended by John &
Anne Nuttall which is up Swindale Beck, Siss Gill and then
up and over Little Fell, or the boundary stone walk from the
B6276 via Hanging Seal, which appears in Paddy's Dillon's
    book on the North Pennines.

In addition to the usual question as to the respective
terrains (when off the paths), any info on the numbers of
    UXBs around!!!

    Cheers

    <http://website.lineone.net/~simeonorme/page63.html> lists
    the 'proposed' no firing schedule.

"Due to all access days being subject to urgent pre-
operational training it is advised to check with the Warcop
Training Area prior to walking or cycling these public
rights of ways. Other short notice access opportunities at
Warcrop can be found on freephone service 0800 7835181"
