  1. I tried iRiver then iPod. Both failed. I believe that the pounding that
comes from running and the sweet destroyes these devices.

I need a device that can handle the sweet and pounding that comes with
    a long distance runner.
So do you own sport MP3 that is good enough for a runner ?

So sweat of you to post this twice, without even bothering to do a
search to see if this has been covered before (it has, many times).

So what? How many times has the "how many calories does running burn"
question been posted? How many times has the "boy it's cold, what
should I wear" question been posted? Don't like the question, don't
    read and don't respond.

Do we really need even more snippiness on the usenet?

I run in the heat of the summer and in the snow of the winter. And when
it's more than, say, 20 degrees F, I sweat buckets. I probably do
1200-1500 miles a year depending on injuries. After about a year and a
half, my Rio Cali sports model is going strong. The older 128 mb model
I have (with expansion memory) is probably pretty darn cheap on eBay
    right now. That's my endorsement.
