I am looking for a new bike for a Lejog expedition next summer, my current Revolution Counntry traveller being elderly and pretty worn out though much loved. My top budget is about £1500. Anyone know of a bike strong enough to cope with fairly lightly loaded panniers but fast enough to be an enjoyable ride with potential to be a bit more responsive than the traditional heavy framed tourer? I’d prefer a woman specific bike as I’m only 5’ 2”. Many thanks.
