I bought 2 Pacific Cycle Mountian bikes from walmart for $54 each one is a 24" and the other is a 26" These are the moutian fury roadmaster models. 15 speed bikes with no shocks and knobby tires. What are your opions on these bike for general riding for excersise? I also added Island hopper friction drive engines to them. It makes it fun when you dont want to pedal. I can average about 10 mph on my bike.

I will be honest with you. Both bikes are pretty much [censored]. But as long as you don't mind having a poor shifting, lousy braking, loud and heavy bike they will work out fine. Be prepared to spend atleast what you paid for you bike for your first repair at the local bike shop.
These bikes were meant to get people into riding and if you start riding more you will want to buy a better quality bike. But for now, enjoy the bike and if you really start riding more go visit your local bike shop and pick up a couple 'decent' entry level bikes.
If you are intending these bikes for Exercise, why would you add a friction device to not have to pedal?
