P.S. No offense. I apologize. It's just, at this point,
this is about the least interesting Grand Tour in my memory, from an
American perspective. Is it still possible to get a plane ticket out of
Spain, with all of the seats being taken from riders who've abandoned the
race? It's even more a Spanish national race than the US championships
is a US national race.

American, Shmamerican...Why can't you enjoy it for the competition and the
excitement. It sure's hell a lot more entertaining and competitive than the
Tour has been for years.

The funny thing is that it was a Spaniard who won the US championships this year.

Way for Garzelli - he got in the right move and it vaulted him into
the top-10. Great move for Garcia Quesada, too.

The next two days may be among the best racing we will ever see... if
