Good job Tyler , taking the TT by 18 seconds ahead of Landis. With Sevilla falling by the wayside , Tyler will be sole team captain now with all of Phonak behind him in the mountains coming up. Ive really got my fingers crossed Tyler can nail his first major tour win in 2 weeks time with this form. Nice dedication to the families of 9/11 at the end there. This is the sort of role-model we want winning in cycling.Who says nice guys finish last? Good for you Tyler.
He is good timetrialist at the momment, we will see tomorrow if he can climb like he was before his crash in TdF! And of course hes a leader, Sevilla had already lost time in "Morilla" stage! I dont think he can go any better in real mountains..

Don't forget that he also crashed in this year's Vuelta, injuring his wrist. It's more important to be able to pull with your arms in the mountains than it is on the flats. So he may be in top form still for a flat time trial, but I wonder if his wrist will be hurting him in the mountains. This guy seems to be crash prone, his career riddled with injuries. But I have to hand it to him, he's shows a lot of courage.
