Patrice Halgand of the much maligned Jean Delatour team is my pick to win this year's Tour. Patrice is currently lying in 19th place in the Dauphine after a respectable prologue tt and good placings in the first two stages. Look for him to put the hammer down in the mountain stages and challenge Armstrong for dominance in the billy-goat classification. His aggresive racing style and cut-throat tactics will be no match for weaker opponents who will crumble under his onslaught. Patrice will bring honor and glory to Delatour and show that malcontent-upstart Cipollini that his anger was all for naught, that Jean Delatour was THE team for the TdF. Go Patrice! (Nice ears too!)
