VP M30 road pedals SPD cleats
Are these compatible with spd cleats-the manufactueres says yes , a dutch cycling site says no. I dont want to butcher a pair of shimano SPD shoes to find the cleats don,t fit.
Any bright ideas-buy the way I have bought the pedals but I have not got them yet( I may have bought the wrong things!) -I am wondering if I should buy some road shoes I have been offered just in case

The m30 is actually an off-road pedal(double sided). It doesn't use SPD Cleats but VP' s own Bio Cleat system which I find a really nice system. Although the Bio cleat system has the same Bolt distance as SPD so you canb mount the Bio cleats you get with the pedals on a shoe designed for SPD.
Its a basic pedal I broke one set when I was doing some start test for 1k TT. Nice pedal for touring road/off-road but not for the real agressive ride.
