VOIP providers

Teleblend at home. (Had sunrocket for years, then they went under and were replaced by teleblend.)My home VOIP comes in handy at the office as well...I often give suppliers my home number, since I can have the calls pop up on my computer with ID and intercept to my cell (my work phone is a bit wonky sometimes and doesn't always ring calls in, and I've become used to having caller ID).

I used Packet8 (now called 8x8) a few years back. They worked well for a while, then things started being a bit glitchy when they released a firmware update for my adapter - after installing the firmware update on my adapter, I had trouble with faxes and calls became a bit stuttery. When I moved to where I am now, I ditched them for Comcast Digital Voice, which worked quite well with calls and faxes. I ended up ditching that a few weeks ago to downsize the expenses - the wife and I both have cell phones, so we decided that we really don't need a house phone right now.

If I get a house phone again in the future, I'm debating between Vonage and Ooma - Ooma looks like it might be a better deal, still doing some due diligence to find out what's best for my particular situation.
