I'm just back in from a little blast round the lanes. I've got a bit
teased about having Lumicycles on my time trial bike, but actually it's
really nice going out riding fast at this time of night. It was high
tide, and the water was mirror flat; and I saw three moving cars in ten
miles. Plenty of owls about...

Just beautiful, really. The only thing that could have improved it would
have been a clear sky, but unfortunately there was high thin cloud.

Just got back myself. Glorious out there - warm, hardly any wind, bright
moonlight, high cloud. The moths are attracted to my UFO-style lighting ;-)
Plenty of bats out too.

Interesting reaction from motorists, sort of uber-WTFIT? factor at work, I
think. Much more slowing down & careful overtaking by drivers.

Same here. A bit of a blast round the local hill. Low tide so the
mudflats of the tay esturary were shimmering, the Fife hills reflected
with the low sun, and then a stonking ride up the hill into the rather
splendid sunset. Just light enough to get back with my legal glowworms
and a good time. First time I have timed this route - 34km, 1:17,
which is a shade over 26km/h (or 16.5 in old money). Not bad for a
technically obese chap on a hilly (430m ascent) course. Felt very good
after that, except for my legs and stomach muscles.
