  1. One way to solve the turning-on problem when carried in storage is
    take a small not-hard plastic pill bottle, and cut a ``U'' in the side
    at the top, push the U in and attach the taillight in the opening.
    That protects its button from being pushed. I have one on each side
    of the pill bottle, having two taillights to carry.

    Something that the light slips into would be better probably, if
    you had something the right size that would hold it from rattling,
    without requiring padding that will just repeat the button-pushing
    problem. The pill bottle solution works fine. Use a small pill bottle
    because it's wasted space, even if you put spare batteries in it.
