According to newspaper reports, 59-year old triathlete Robert Ernst died after taking Vioxx. The lawyer in the case supposedly displayed trophies from marathons to the jury.
Mr. Ernst & his wife supposedly also rode a tandem bicycle in 100km rides.
Does anyone know what triathlons and/or other athletic competitions Mr. Ernst competed in? Are these results online on the web somewhere?
I have no connection with the case or the drug industry, but am just curious as to how good an athlete Mr. Ernst was.
