    inscription,blue cloth boards a bit faded,otherwise VGC.187 pages.
    Really comprehensive vintage manual on the various forms of climbing
    technique. Loads of pictures,maps,diagrams etc.

    Some chapters:- The Climbers gear /The Rope /Rock climbing /Snow & Ice
    1 /Snow & Ice 2 /Glaciers /Mountain camps /Mountain rescue /Winters in
    Wales /An Alpine traverse etc.
