Does anybody have any experience with video taping while touring with a mountain bike ? Is the image good quality ? Can I mount the cam corder on the frame or does the camcorder has to be mounted on the rider's body ?

Check out the following link. You'll find lots of sample videos as well as instructions on how to set up the cameras and what to use. Very informative and entertaining.

They have some pretty good stuff. There was a local racer that used a helmet camera from that site during the weekly crit and got the footage from a crash. It was awesome, unfortunately,he diable the link. He kept the camera in his back pocket, or a small [censored]-bag type pouch.
