Has anyone tried mounting the speed sensor/transmitter to the rear wheel? I have a wireless speed and cadence configuration with the speed sensor mounted, as intended, to the fork. I realize that the transmission distance to the handlebar would be greater if mounted at the rear wheel, but it would be in approximately the same position as the cadence sensor which transmits this distance fine.
The reason I'm considering this is that I want to use this bike on a trainer.
I don't think so. I couldn't get it to work on my BikeFriday (wheel down too low). Had to mount the computer way down on the fork crown. Maybe you could put the computer on the floor near the rear wheel?
