Hi there, I am 35 yo male, fairly fit, Ihave been riding a fixed wheel bike everyday for the last 18 months, realised that I hardly walk anywhere and have totaly stoped running. two question are. A) does anyone else have trouble with running and or walking after prolonged cycling. B) how important is body positioning, and bike set up! could I have been riding in an incorrect postion and inadvertantly over used my glutes, ? Its my first post , sorry if its in the wrong section. Thanx😉

Well I don't run but I would say that bike fitting is extremly important. If you have doubts I suggest that you get some help from a knowledgeable person in your area that knows about fitting a bike.
Stiffness could come from a variety of things besides cycling.
Diet, hydration, sleep patterns, being over 25. I do not have trouble walking unless I have done a long ride and then sometimes just dismounting the bike is difficult but it passes very quickly.
