I am a man in need of desperate help! I am hoping to buy either the Specialized Venge Expert 2013 or the Pinarello Quattro Bob Ultegra. I am attracted to the speed of the venge but am in awe of the way the Quattro looks. Can anyone tell me what the Quattro is like in a sprint or has anyone rode the venge? If anyone has any general info on these bikes I really would appreciate it!

Do you mean the aero claims of the marketing department? Not being cheeky but you are going to get exactly the same result at the races on either one of those bikes. Sometime back somebody mentioned the Venge was rumored to be a little harsher in the realm of equivalents, but that was second hand news. I'd be interested too in what someone who had ridden and raced those bikes under the lab conditions required to call one faster than the other but barring that I would fear I was just buying the bike, based on an entirely subjective opinion of what the person recommending wanted. I.e. you would be buying the bike they would buy if they had the $$.Definitely make your own purchase decisions, but as buying criteria goes, awe is a pretty big decider in my book. Good luck, sounds like you are going to end up with a sweet ride regardless.

well i just check them out on a internet retailer, and with the discount the Pinarello is 600 pounds cheaper than the Specialized, that could mean an extra set of wheels, extra money in your savings account, money for a cycling holiday overseas, etc if they were on the same price then i would struggle to decide, but i would go for the look of the Specialized,
