  1. Has anyone ordered and or received a new V2 Formula for this year?
Rans says they are available to ship right now. The price is somewhat
resonable at 2299. and I am just wondering if it is really a better
bike than the regular V2. I have been riding the regular V2 for a
couple of years now (yes, that is a record for me for any one
    bike!!!).

Even at the newer price it's beyond what I'm willing to do. I do really
like the look of it though.
There was a statement on BROL saying that the Formula was deceptively fast.
Have no idea what that means, however.

  3. Two years? You expect me a long time follower of the Bikeploits of Marci T.
Well anyway, the V2 Formula will handle much the same as the steel version
since the geometry is the same. However the "feel" of the bike is different.
The "passive suspension" of the steel one is mostly gone and the overall
stiffness of the frame is apparent especially if you move from one to the
other asI did a number of times. I rode a steel one for over a year...I like
the V2F better. Although I have not done any climbing on one I think it will
climb better due to its increased stiffness...but expect a harsher ride.
