If it is bad to mix politics and religion, mixing religion and diet is just as
bad.As a Christian, I would offer these comments:
First, in Genesis, man was created. Great debate about this.
Secondly, in Genesis, man was a raw vegan, eating his food without cooking it
just the same as all the other creatures. This included not eating certain
grains like wheat.Thirdly, eating in this manner, man could live for over 900 years. Noah was
502 when he fathered his first son. That son was 98 at the time of the flood. After the flood man was given PERMISSION to eat certain animals. I choose the
word animals since the word meat usually referred to food, in general. However
man was not changed in any way to allow him to properly or correctly eat the
animal. Man was given some general directions on what was edible and what was
not. Today, we ignore this advice at our peril. After man began eating meat, his lifespan dropped to 120, also verified in the
Bible in a number of ways.Today, eating and living as we do, we do not thrive. We are filled with pain
and suffering. We die of disease around age 70, half the age we should live to
and accept it as fate and out of our hands. The medical industry thrives on
our sickness and does all it can to promote disease...treatment, not healing,
is where the profit is. They screen the supposedly healthy for disease and
call it good...good for them not the victim of "early detection."Those are some of my thoughts.
