Hi
Just won a Vango Ultralite self inflating mat but how does it self inflate?
Either opening or closing the valve doesn't seem to do it. Is there any
trick to it?
TIA

My (non vango) mat needed an initial inflation manually as specified in
the manual. Subsequent uses have not required assistance though.

This hasn't come with a manual. Typical .

If it has been rolled up tight, then it will need some time for the foam
inside to recover some of its 'body'. Maybe for the first few times you
will need to blow it up to its optimum level of inflation. After that it
just needs a little top up after self-inflating. Best to store it
unfolded with the valve open. At least this is what I do with my Alpkit
Airic.
