A 24" usally.we have two sets,four tireflys and they all take some
bouncing to turn on.
Mine are green.The ones that flash red,blue,and clear would be cool.

They'ed probally look cooler on a faster wheel.

That hardtail has the strangest geometry I have ever seen. The seat tube
looks like it was just thrown on there. The tube from the down tube to
the seat tube looks like it should be way farther back. Also, it looks
like the whole frame was drawn up for a greater head angle. The frame
kindof angles there right before the steerer tube. Because of this, your
wheelbase looks short and standover looks high.

How does it ride? Is it stiff? Looks durable in the front with the big
gusset there, but I'm curious about the rear.

Wheelbase is a little compact but not overly short. Standover is ample
but not excessively.

It rides a lot like an oversized BMX cruiser, reactive and twitchy! I
run a 24" on the back so that has a lot to do with it. Stiff as a board,
but what else would you expect from aluminum! Great dirt jumping, urban,
technical North Shore bike(awesome on skinnies). Not a good XC trail
bike and not a good large drop bike......but that has a lot to do with
the fork I put on it. Since I already have a good trail/medium hit bike
I built the hardtail up to be more of a technical frame. All that being
said the frame is VERY strong. Back when KHS [censored] were in production
(2001-2002) a pro-rider rode one and in one of the DVD's from then he
does some gnar-core [censored] on that frame. I have no worries of breaking
it. I love it because of the way it rides.......but it's also very cool
to have such an unusual frame in my stable, it is like a piece of
art.......ugly art 😄

The rear wheel or tire? The rear wheel on the FR2000 is a Sun
Singletrack.....the tire is a Panaracer Fire FR.

I'm actually running a Maxxis HolyRoller on the back of the [censored]
now.......real nice tire!

Yes to the Lexan bashrings......running a E.13 SRS Chainguide on the
[censored] (8 speed), and a E.13 DRS Chainguide on the FR2000 (18 speed).

E.13 guides are the best thing since sliced bread..........never dropped
a chain or even a gear in years!

Nah.....the Sun Singletracks have been bomb proof so far and they are
lighter than the trailpimp. The FR2000 is too heavy as it is.......about
43lbs. I don't own an XC rig so it is the only bike I use to ride trail
and here in the Appalachian Mountains every extra ounce puts me that
much closer to barfing on big climbs. 😄

I've been running those singletrack rims for years now and never had to
do any major truing eventhough they have seen a plethora of +6 foot
drops.
