  1. I just picked up a lightly used Vail Cycle Works road frame made for Columbus Nivacrom Steel. It is in the mail to me as I type. I don’t know much about this frame builder. Does anyone know about this frame builder and the quality of his work?

I am considering building it up with a mostly 105 build with comfort and distance as my objective. I am thinking all 105 except for the hubs, bottom bracket and rear derailleur. I am thinking about upgrading these components to Ultegra. Any help and/or info would be appreciated.
