You'll never get anywhere close to what you just paid for it. Check around on egay for a similar model.

. . . or you could take it to a bad neighborhood and it may get stolen. Then you could make an insurance claim. Chances are the value won't touch your deductable though. 🙄

You're probably not going to get enough for it to make selling it worthwhile. If you were lucky enough to find someone who's going to buy that exact model anyway they might give you something for it. Have you talked the shop where you bought it? Maybe they'd sell it on consignment for you and apply the dough to your upgrade or something. Personally, I'd just keep it as a second ride.

Dealer here gives trade-ins...I'd ask for $200 on a higher-priced Trek model.
