I'd like to find a place in the USA that repaints composite frames, specifically a Trek 5200
I know that Trek will do it but it a bit pricey. I'm told $350.
Or can I do it myself. Question is if I "can" do it myself how do I remove the old paint.
thanks craig

I can paint it no problem, but I also want to know how to remove the paint. Sorry Trek 99, I'm in South Africa.

You might try Spectrum Powder Coating, they also do wet coat paints and they are very good. I think their website is www.spectrumpowderworks.com They are in Colorado Springs Colorado.
