  1. I Am New At This Sport, And I Need Some Information/ Tips On How To Pedal Uphill! I Have A 21speed Road Bike, My Question Is What Gear Should I Be In When Traveling Up Hill Coming From A Decline? Oh Also Is It Advisable To Be In 5th 0R 6th Gear When Decending On A Hill Thanks!🙂

    Before someone jumps all over you try and be a little more specific as hills and terrian vary.
    Also techniques vary as some like to grind outthe big rings and others manitain a higher cadence in lower gears.

  3. Just stay in the gear ur in, as your cadence starts to drop start descending the rear gears. Once at half way i drop to the small front ring, then continue the first step.
