Isnt it true that the primary benefit of upgrading to Di2 is simply the prestige and bragging rights that come with having the latest and greatest technology, rather than any tangible performance gains? I mean, lets be real, how many of us are actually racing at a level where the incremental improvements in shifting speed and accuracy are going to make a significant difference in our results? And yet, were willing to shell out thousands of dollars for the privilege of saying we have Di2. Are we just buying into the marketing hype, or is there something more substantial to the upgrade that Im missing?
