My current setup is all Shimano 105 w/ ultegra front and rear derailleurs...Figure would be fesiable with the lower prices (thanks to 2004 models). Any opinions?
I understand some are pro campy and some are pro shimano. But my budget is kind of small and I want to stay as close to $1k with my new wheel set which will run about $250 through my local bike club. That said...most say Dura-ace has the "bang for your buck" style.
I was looking into upgrading my 2002 klein Quantum Pro to shimano Dura-ace 7700 due to those recent price drops. I was wondering where the best deals were out on the net?

Best thing to do is order from Australia or England. Or maybe find a distributor in Canada. With the international shipping, in some cases, may still be less overall that USA + sales tax or + shipping. Reason being is that Shimano is really clamping down on merchants that try to sell below their MSRP. They now have authorized internet dealers and have new rules for their distributors and merchants on the minimum they can charge for their products. Nothing is stopping you from ordering internationally though.
JensonUSA is probably your best bet. However, if you can hold out, pay attention to Bike Nashbar, occasionally they have 20% off sales and it may be worth the wait if you're tight on cash.
