  1. My ten year old wants a better fork for his Norco Jammer, which
currently has a suntour m5000 with about 2" of travel. He rides well
for his age, and says he bottoms out the fork and needs better damping.
He's about 85 lbs. He likes a bit of jumping, but also likes
technical climbing, trials-style riding and trails at the local mtb
    park.

There don't seem to be upgrade forks available for 24" wheels. Would a
mid-range travel xc 26" fork work? We know we have to change to a
front disc if we do (hub and brake). 'Just wondering how big we can
go before the handling is affected.

There is a used Marzocchi bomber (no model sticker) available locally
with 100mm of travel for $100, more if it gets new seals first.

    Will this work? Thanks
