  1. im 14 and i have dimindback xc and i want 2 know that should i repleace or upgrade pleace tell me and i dont see many 14 tears old biking why?? thanks 🙂

  2. It is hard to suggest to upgrade or buy new without a lot more information about your bike and yourself. What kind of riding do you do? What kind of conditions do you ride in? What parts are on your bike at the moment? What condition are the parts on your bike in? How much (if any) of your components need to be replaced? What kind of shape is your frame in? And most important what is your budget to spend?

As to why more 14 year olds don't take up the sport, I am not sure why that is. Maybe they see all the Volvo/Toyota ads that include mountain bikes and figure that mountain biking is for older people? Maybe they think the start-up costs of buying a new bike are too high? Maybe PS2's and X-Boxes are just more interesting?

Nice thing about mountain biking is you don't really need anyone other then yourself to enjoy it.

    Cheers,
    Juba
