Before i start just want to let you know that i dont know much about all this stuff. I acquired about a year ago a colnago bike, it seems to be an older model from its appearance as the rims were rusted and it looked like it had been sitting still for a long time. The frame is in excellent condition and the paint was lacking so in my inexperience at the time sanded back the paint and aded a new coat, averagely done i may add. The forks aswell are in excellent condition. I have kept the original hubs and had them put on a new set of rims and respoked, the rims are, ....... it slips my mind at the mo but are of an italian name and have a clover for a logo, and are hollow. Anyway after all of that detail, im curious to know how do i find out what model the frame is? And also is it likely to be worth much after all its been through?
There might be a serial code under the bottom bracket, (where the cranks go) Email Colnago with that and you might be able to find out some things. Thats the only idea I got.......
