Well, I spent 15-20 minutes on my new uni today. This was the first uni that I have ever touched, much less tried to ride.
I am using the 'wall assist' method. I was able to 'hover' holding on to the wall just to get comfy. Then I would pedal down the wall and try to launch from the wall.
All in all I think the session went OK. I certainly showed improvement over the short amount of time. My biggest tip to myself was to "LOOK UP". Just like technical riding on a dirt bike or MTN pedal bike; you have to look up.
However, I must say that riding this damn thing still seems impossible.
We were all, of course, just kidding. It is impossible to ride a unicycle, none of us can, and this is just a massive conspiracy to get you to waste your time.
Keep your weight on the seat. Glad to know you're making progress.

Keep the positive attitude. Learning to ride a uni may take a little more time than you might anticipate. Keep your weight on the saddle and keep your practice times short at first (30 to 45 minutes). This will help to keep you from getting too tired and possibly making the same mistakes over and over. Good luck😄 😄
