ultimate bike stand clamp

Did you contact their tech support? They guy that designed the clamp
will himself, most likely, send you an apology and swear he will have
your clamp functioning properly...

I have the Ultimate Pro and had the same issue. They sent me out a
"kit" that solves the problem at no charge. I use it almost daily and
haven't had any problems since, and that's been almost 2 years ago.
