  1. I had a bit of a mishap today at a training clinic doing a
bike gladiator drill to get used to bumping in a group. As I
was being forced from the circle I went down and some how
went from the right side of the bike in front of me falling
to the left and ended up with a spoke of his rear wheel
wedged between the brake lever and small shift lever of my
    front brifter.

Once we extracted the two bikes, I could not move either
lever at all to shift. After fiddling this evening, it now
    shifts again, but not well.

To shift from the large ring to the middle ring, I need to
push the shift lever forward while pushing it to the right
to down shift. If I don't push it forward, the two levers
are jammed together and can't shift. Works well 9 out of 10
times. Other times, need to fiddle to get it to shift. Not
good in a racing/fast group ride situation.

Shifting from small to large ring seems to be OK.

Anything I can do to get this lever working more smoothly on
    this one downshift again?

Brifters: Ultegra 9 spd Flight Deck. FD: Ultegra Triple RD:
Ultegra 9 spd Triple Cranks: Shimano 105 Octalink Triple

    Thanks, Dave
