Breifly:

If your chain is sitting nicely on all the other cogs?

then -

Look at the derailleur from the back. you will see 3 little screws. Find
a screwdriver that fits them (good quality small Phillips).

The little screw with a "H" next to it, turn it anti-clockwise half a
turn. Turn your cranks. Better?

If not, change up and down the rear cogs a few times, and try another
half turn.

If not now, you need to use the barrel adjuster (where the cable meets
the mech) to centre the chain on the appropriate cog, (2nd hardest to
pedal), change to the smallest, and turn the screw back in (clockwise)
until it just starts to make noise, then back out half a turn.

If not now, get a shop to align your derailleur hanger.
