  1. Is it possible to have a stomach ulcer for 'years',
generally not being bothered by it but every now and then it
getting irritated by alchohol/caffeine which makes the
stomach feel uncomfortable/slight nauseous feeling? Does
this sound like an ulcer, or something else?

    TIA tim

  2. Can be anything from either end of the scale.

If it's been going on for years, it's time to have a doc
    check it out. LK

I think it is. Certainly was that way with my son until
he was rushed to hospital and given eight pints of blood
over a few days. He was into binge drinking and had a
stressful job. He is much better but still needs anti
    ulcer drugs. Diana
