  1. I'm thinking of taking the plunge (n.p.i.) at the Dorney triathlon in a
couple of weeks. Has anyone done it before? Do you think it will be suitable
    for a first-timer? It's an 800m/30k/7.5k distance open water swim. I feel
reasonably well trained, although I haven't had enough time on my bike, nor
have I done any open water swimming. Will I definitely need a wetsuit (not
clear from the website) or would a tri-suit be ok?

Bob, as much as a few of us from the UK hang out here, questions like
this one would get a much better answer over on
    http://www.tritalk.co.uk/forums/viewforum.php?f=2

Where there are well over 1000 UK triathletes registered and even a
number of organisers and staff, coaches from the British Triathlon
Association. I've never done Dorney so can't help with the specific
    question.

See you over there? ++Mark. aka tritraveller on www.tritalk.co.uk

  3. Thanks Mark.
