  1. I have used Rock Shox U-turn system, what is manitou's Rapid Travel Wind Down like in comparison?

    Is RTWD and manitous Rapid travel adjustment the samething but with differan names?

    No RTWD and Rapid Travel Adjustment in manitou's are not the same thing. The Rapid wind down is similar to the U-turn. Just turn the know and the fork graduallay increases or decreases in travel by winding the coil spring up or down.. The rapid travel adjust is used on air models. What it does is lock the stanchions at a higher or lower height changing the travel of the fork. It allows for no in between tuning. Its either one travel setting or the other activated immediately by flipping the switch and lightly pressing on the fork to release the lock system..
