Ive got a wheel built up on exal xr2 rim, and whilst it is a great wheel, its got an ERD of 606 which makes fitting tyres very diffcult, ive broken one tyre lever so far. Ive currently got michelin pro3 race tyre on which is still a very tight fit. Ive also tried bontrager racelite and conti gatorskin ultra.

Can anyone suggest another tyre that is easy to fit?

I find that Maxxis and Schwalbe tires tend to go one easier than others.

bechdan, unfortunately this is the deal with some tires - they don't mount super easily. Fortunately you only have to mount the tire once in a while. If the tires ride really well I would not worry that much about mounting. Think about guys who glue their tires on before they can ride them; and taking them off is even a bigger pain. Stick to the tires that raid well and fit your durability criteria and wallet :)
