  1. Does anybody know if stair stepping, treadmill, running, rebounding, jump rope, pilates, stationary bike, calisthenics, etc. will help increase my cardiovascular system and help my performance on the bike?😕

    HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😄

    Improve your cardiovascular system...yes.

    Improve your performance on the bike...most likely not.

    If you're strapped for time or don't have access to a bike, then those are great alternatives, but the best way to improve your performance on the bike is to train on the bike.

    Except the stationary bike. At least regarding me climbing, there's not so much difference if bike is stationary or going walking speed...

    woops! I missed the stationary bike part in the list of exercises. Thanks for the correction! 🙂

  5. doesnt benefit cycling directly but i lyk doing burpees with a press up then jump up and do a pull up

    they are killer & good for keeping some muscle in the upper body
