After reading that article it would appear that there is really no way for this to be in error unless Tyler has had an operation in the last three months that required a transfussion. And he certainly hasn't said anything to that effect. Not to mention that it would have cramped his build up to the Olympics.
So it seems that he really was caught. Now I can only imagine that he was storing his own blood and planning on transfusing that and someone got the bags switched. Either that or Tyler has to be incredibly stupid even for a bicycle racer.
